Lai Chi Kok Park Intro
荔枝角公園 位於深水埗西，東為美孚一期，南接葵涌貨櫃碼頭路，西靠荔景山道，北則為荔灣道，交通四通八達，市民可乘地鐵、西鐵及巴士前往。荔枝角公園 分為三期建造，總面積達17.65公頃， 公園 內提供多項康體設施，而鄰近配套設施則有 荔枝角公園 游泳池、體育館及圖書館。政府於1993年完成《鐵路發展研究》，確定有需要興建西部走廊(即西鐵)。根據九廣鐵路公司(九鐵)與前臨時市政局所達成的協議，九鐵須重置荔枝角公園內所有受西鐵工程影響的康樂設施，包括網球場、硬地足球場、籃球／排球合用場、兒童遊樂場、門球場、滾軸溜冰場、緩跑徑和園林 休閒 設施等。 公園 的第二及第三期發展亦作出相應修訂，進行加建及改善設施工程。荔枝角公園 內同時設有游泳池及體育館等不同康樂 休閒 設施, 其中「嶺南之風」 更是 公園 內的專題園區, 有關「嶺南之風」的介紹可到以下連結: 不同園區的詳細開放時間(最後更新17/1/2014) :寵物公園位於荔枝角公園第一期設施：寵物活動區、狗糞收集箱、狗廁所和洗手設備
