The Rink Intro
位於柯士甸道西一號的ELEMENTS的溜冰場The Rink, 是為全亞洲第一個採納先進環保設備的溜冰場。傳統的溜冰場需消耗很多能源以維持冰塊凝固, The Rink 的46米長20米闊之冰面, 引進了歐洲最先進的製冷科技, 將能源消耗大幅減低。傳統溜冰場用作磨滑冰面的鏟冰車, 一般都是使用液態燃氣, 汽油或柴油,使用這些燃料時，會不斷釋放出大量的有害氣體及物質懸浮在封閉的溜冰場內,對場地使用者的健康構成一定的危險. The Rink引進了一部以儲電池供電的意大利鏟冰車ENGO, 完全不會排放任何廢氣或熱能,杜絕了有害的物質留於空氣中。The Rink 為公眾溜冰提供一個獨一無二的收費概念, “不 溜冰 ,不收費” !首先, The Rink 為首個引進八達通付款系統的溜冰場,不設買票櫃枱於 溜冰場 , 溜冰 者只需用八達通卡通過設於冰面前的閘口而 溜冰 玩樂. 當 溜冰 者用八達通卡通過閘口離開冰面時,收費系統會按 溜冰 者使用冰面的時間按每分鍾計算自動收費。除了當鏟冰車在冰面運作時的短暫休息時段外, The Rink 並不設分段入場時間表,使用者可自由進出享用設施. 此外, 父母更可免費於 The Rink 內的公眾區觀賞小孩子 溜冰 時的開心時刻或當有需要時作出協助。
